GYF Food Pack project came about in light of rising prices affecting some low income families within the UK, who struggle to afford the basic necessities of life. Our packs contain food items common in any household such as bread, milk and butter, in an attempt to provide short-term relief for those in need.

Homelessness is on the rise throughout the UK. We provide immediate relief to those without a home. We provide food, blankets, shoes, clothes and assistance in securing shelter. Ultimately, our aim with this project is to enable homeless people to resume a normal life.

Natural disasters and emergencies can devastate the communities they hit, and the speed of the response can be – literally – the difference between life and death. Our priority is to save lives, and often the first response is to distribute a range of items, such as shelter kits, food, clean water and hygiene products.

Zakat is a form of alms-giving treated in Islam as a religious obligation or tax, which, by Quranic ranking, is next after prayer in importance. It is a responsibility of the donor to ensure that Zakat is utilised correctly. So the decisions as to who you donate your Zakat to cannot be taken lightly. Our ‘Living Ghazali’ classes, is a fantastic education initiative specifically designed for children that educates them about the importance and benefits of virtue and we achieve this by engaging children through text books and interactive activities.
